About
Founded in 1850, Oakland Cemetery is a 48-acre Victorian-era cemetery and arboretum on the National Register of Historic Places, adjoining Grant Park. It is the final resting place of Margaret Mitchell, golf legend Bobby Jones, 6 Georgia governors, and 25 Atlanta mayors, and is known for its Victorian funerary sculpture, gardens, and African American Grounds.

Parking
Visitor parking lot is at 342 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., on the west end of the Visitor Center.
