Stacks Squares Mural Project
Public Art|Gallery
About
Launched in 2017 by program director John Dirga, Stacks Squares is a rotating outdoor mural exhibit on Carroll Street beneath the historic Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts (the ‘Stacks’). Ten artists at a time each paint an individual 7-foot-by-7-foot framed square, with the lineup refreshed roughly three times a year, mixing professional muralists with emerging and amateur painters.
