About
The APEX (African American Panoramic Experience) Museum occupies a century-old building on Auburn Avenue constructed by African American masons, and has presented African and African American history for roughly four decades. Exhibits trace the story from ancient African societies through the civil rights era, including a current exhibit on the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre and the neighborhood’s resilience.
