Run by the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs inside Chastain Park, this center pairs a free public gallery with paid classes in painting, pottery, printmaking, and jewelry-making. Founded in 1968, it is considered the city’s oldest continuously operating arts education center. The Gallery at Chastain mounts rotating juried exhibitions of local and regional artists.
