About

Forward Warrior is an annual public-art mural project and live-painting festival founded by artist Peter Ferrari, run through the Cabbagetown Initiative CDC in partnership with the Cabbagetown Neighborhood Improvement Association. Each September, dozens of established and emerging artists paint new large-scale murals along roughly a half-mile of wall space on Wylie Street, building a free, year-round open-air gallery.
