About
Opened in 1986 on a hillside site near Freedom Park, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum preserves the papers, photographs, and artifacts of the Carter presidency, including a full-scale replica of the Oval Office as it appeared during his administration and his Nobel Peace Prize medal. The complex also houses the offices of the Carter Center.
