Krog Street Tunnel
Public Art
About
A pedestrian and vehicle underpass at Krog Street and DeKalb Avenue, the tunnel has served as a legal ‘free wall’ for graffiti and street art since Cabbagetown residents won its decriminalization in 2002. Its interior murals change constantly with new work, while the Wylie Street entrance is curated through the neighborhood’s Forward Warrior mural program.

Good to know
Art changes constantly
The interior is a legal free wall, so murals inside are repainted frequently; visit often to see new work.
Watch for traffic
It's an active vehicle, bike, and pedestrian underpass with no sidewalk separation in parts.
