About
Operated by the National Park Service, this historical park preserves Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birth home and the surrounding Sweet Auburn neighborhood. The permanent visitor center is temporarily relocated to Historic Fire Station No. 6 during renovations, and the Birth Home tour itself is currently closed for renovation, with ranger-led presentations offered daily at the adjacent bookstore instead. Admission is free.
