About
Opened in 1939 and now operated as a nonprofit under the Atlanta Film Society, the Plaza Theatre is Atlanta’s longest continuously operating independent movie theater. It screens first-run independent and arthouse films, classic and repertory revivals, and community events across two auditoriums, and has hosted midnight Rocky Horror Picture Show screenings since 2000.
