About
Chai Pani brought Indian street food to Decatur’s town square in 2009 and has been a local fixture ever since, plating chaats, pavs, and thali in a loud, colorful dining room. Chef Meherwan Irani built the menu around the everyday snack foods of Mumbai and Ahmedabad, reworked with Georgia produce. The restaurant was a James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurant and remains one of metro Atlanta’s most-loved Indian kitchens.
