Manuel’s Tavern has been a Poncey-Highland gathering spot since 1956, when Manuel Maloof converted a delicatessen into a neighborhood bar inspired by English pubs he’d visited overseas. The family-owned tavern is known for pub classics, weekend brunch, and decades of history as a favorite Atlanta political hangout. It remains a casual, no-frills bar with a loyal regular crowd.
