529 is a live-music club in the heart of East Atlanta Village, housed in a space formerly occupied by retro-soul bar the Village. A 2018 renovation more than tripled the size of its music room and added a second bar. The venue showcases metal, hip-hop, indie, and punk/hardcore acts nearly every night, plus novelty events like Punk Rock Karaoke and Emo Night, and has won Creative Loafing’s ‘Best Musicians Hangout’ and ‘Best Place to Hear Local Music.’
