Variety Playhouse

Variety Playhouse occupies a WWII-era movie theater that first opened as the Euclid Theatre in 1940, operated as a cinema into the late 1980s, and converted to a live music venue in 1990. With a sloping main floor, balcony, and a roughly 1,000-person capacity, it has hosted an eclectic range of rock, indie, electronic, funk, country, folk, bluegrass, jazz, blues, and world music acts, and was named Atlanta’s Best Concert Venue for nine consecutive years (2000-2008).
