Grant Park: Atlanta’s Oldest Park Neighborhood
Grant Park is one of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods, built around the historic park of the same name and home to Zoo Atlanta. Its streets are lined with Victorian and craftsman homes dating back well over a century, and the neighborhood sits close enough to the Beltline’s Southside Trail to make it an easy walk or ride from other intown areas.
There are 30 Grant Park listings on this site, led by 15 restaurants and bars and 10 beauty and wellness spots, along with a smaller number of arts, culture, and nightlife picks. The categories below cover what is open around the park and along the neighborhood’s main commercial stretches.
Grant Park’s namesake green space includes walking paths and picnic areas in addition to the zoo, making it a popular weekend destination for families as well as anyone visiting the neighborhood’s restaurants. The Beltline’s Southside Trail runs along the edge of the neighborhood, connecting it toward Summerhill and the West End without needing a car.
